Miyakojima Hotel Locus

Instead of a double room, we opted for a spacious twin room.

Each bed had an outlet and USB port, and under the beds, there was ample space for two 28-inch suitcases.

The room also had an ocean view, meaning a direct view of the harbor right in front! How cool is that?

Two bottles of water and pajamas were provided as standard, and since we spent a lot of time by the sea and often brought back a lot of sand, it was great that daily cleaning was available.

Plus, with blackout curtains, sleeping in was totally possible!!

Don't forget to try the ice cream offered daily at the hotel between 6 PM and 11 PM!

Apparently, it's a specialty ice cream from the Okinawa region :)

The location of this hotel is seriously the best because the Yabiji Tour meeting point is only a 2-minute walk away!

It's literally right there!

While others had to drive quite a distance, we just finished our tour, came straight back to the accommodation, and showered. That was probably the most convenient part!

What's more, this is Miyakojima city center, so you'll find all sorts of great restaurants and Blue Seal ice cream!

No need to stay at a distant resort and then commute back to the city...

If you're planning to travel without a rental car, just book Hotel Locus.

The Maxvalu supermarket, plus all the city's great restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance, making travel incredibly convenient!

We came to Miyakojima to see turtles, and the Miyako Blue ocean was absolutely stunning..!

Even among resorts with notoriously high prices during peak season, we carefully chose a place for around ~$69 and were so fortunate to stay somewhere with clean facilities and a great location. I can't express how relieved we were!
