Ho Chi Minh to Meliá Ho Tram 2026: Shuttle & Private Van Guide
Planning a trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Meliá Ho Tram in 2026? Discover the best ways to get there, including shuttle, ferry, and private van options, with updated pricing details.

Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort Hotel is located about 110-120 km from Ho Chi Minh City,
requiring a car ride of approximately 2-3 hours to reach this stunning destination.
The Meliá Ho Tram, Ho Tram Beach Resort Hotel offers both hotel rooms and resort villas.
Hotel rooms can be booked for about ~$146 per night,
while the resort villas are priced around ~$365 to ~$438 per night.
The resort villas, especially, are incredibly good, living up to their price!
They include various benefits like breakfast and cocktail happy hour, plus access to a private pool and beach,
making them perfect for golf trips or family vacations.
Of course, we went as a couple, and it was fantastic!
While I'll share a detailed review of Ho Tram in another post,
today I want to introduce various ways and transportation information
on how to get from Ho Chi Minh City to the Ho Tram resort.

We pre-purchased our mini-bus tickets from Klook,
but you can find the best deals by checking different platforms:
>> Book the cheapest mini-bus on Klook <<
If you're a couple looking for a private ride or a family wanting to use a private van,
I highly recommend booking one through MyRealTrip!
>> Book a private van on MyRealTrip <<
Although we booked through Klook,
currently, tickets from Peaktime, a Vietnamese tour activity site,
seem to be the most affordable!
Since discounts vary between platforms, I recommend comparing prices before booking!

Ho Chi Minh City ↔ Meliá Ho Tram
Round Trip, One Way Transportation Information
- Meliá Ho Tram Shuttle Bus
- Private Van
- Mini-bus (Vie Limousine)
- Ferry, Grab, Taxi, etc.
There are several ways to get from Ho Chi Minh City to Ho Tram resort.
1. Meliá Ho Tram Shuttle Bus

Meliá Ho Tram Resort Shuttle Bus Information
The shuttle bus operated by Meliá Ho Tram Resort is completely FREE! Amazing! LOL.
If you think, 'It's a high-end resort I'm paying good money for, so of course, I should use the free shuttle,'
then simply plan your travel around the shuttle bus schedule.

The private van service offered on the MyRealTrip platform is the most comfortable and best option,
as only your party can use it exclusively!
For a one-way trip, prices are around ~$80 for a small car (2 people),
~$88 for an SUV (4 people), and ~$131 for a minivan (8 people).
This is a great option if you have a lot of luggage or a larger group, like for a family vacation or a golf trip.

Hop aboard the comfortable deluxe limousine
and travel to Ho Chi Minh, Vung Tau, Long Hai, Ho Tram, and Binh Chau
with the Mini Bus Vie Limousine.
For around ~$11 - ~$15 per person,
you can travel to your destination with other passengers
in this semi-private(?) limousine mini-bus!
Wi-Fi is available in the limousine,
each individual seat is equipped with a tablet,
so you can enjoy OTT services like Netflix,
and even pets are allowed.
See below for more detailed information!
4. Using the Ferry, Grab, or Taxi

When we finished our trip in Ho Tram and returned to Ho Chi Minh,
we used a taxi and a ferry.
Of course (?), it's more expensive than a shuttle bus or mini-bus,
but it was great to experience a variety of transportation methods.
Details on ferry and taxi costs and locations, to be continued!
Each option definitely has its pros and cons,
so it's a good idea to choose what works best for you,
keeping your group size and budget in mind.
Since my partner and I love budget-friendly travel,
we took the Mini Bus Limousine from Ho Chi Minh to Ho Tram,
and when returning from Ho Tram to Ho Chi Minh,
we opted for a taxi and a ferry!
While the Mini Bus Limousine was absolutely satisfying,
using the taxi and ferry was more for fun (?)
as we wanted to experience various modes of transport.
If we go again, we probably wouldn't bother with them.
If we can align with the Meliá Ho Tram Resort shuttle bus schedule,
or if a late checkout at the resort is possible,
we'd definitely use the Mini Bus Limousine for the return journey too!!!
