Because of this, absolutely everyone flocks there.
The downside to those cheap rates?
You need to brace yourself for at least a 1-hour wait just to get your car.
Imagine this: It's day one, you've grabbed your luggage, you walk to the rental booth,
and you're stuck in a massive line for an hour. Honestly, it's exhausting
and a huge waste of precious vacation time!
For that reason alone, I crossed Hertz off my list.
✔ Sixt
Sixt is slightly more expensive than Hertz,
but the difference was incredibly minimal.
We're talking maybe a ~$2 or ~$3 difference per day.
When you factor in the time saved and the zero-stress experience,
Sixt is by far the better value.
When I picked up my car at Sixt:
✔ They had plenty of staff, so the wait time was virtually non-existent.
✔ I received the exact car model I booked.
There was no bait-and-switch,
and zero pressure to upgrade.
They just handed me the keys to the car I wanted.
Plus, since I pre-booked with Klook's full-coverage insurance,
