Dusit Beach Resort Guam had microwaves on every floor, which was convenient for warming up room-temperature baby food. Additionally, we were able to request and have a bed guard installed, and since the floor was not entirely carpeted, it was great for staying with a baby.

Since baby food containing meat is not allowed in Guam, I mainly packed cup-type room-temperature baby food from brands like Jjangjook and Alvins. It was easier to warm up and feed than pouch-type food. I also prepared liquid formula (Absolute Myeongjak) and stick formula (Absolute Myeongjak).

How was the flight when traveling to Guam with an 8-month-old baby on T'way Air?

Although T'way Air did not have a bassinet, we were able to sit in the first row by purchasing seats in advance, which made for a comfortable experience. The baby did not cry on either the flight to Guam or the flight to Incheon and completed both safely, also receiving help from surrounding passengers.

The Guam return central tour was conducted by boarding a private vehicle with luggage from the hotel on the day of departure, adjusting the desired points for the tour. The tour concluded with a drop-off at the airport, and I personally used the 3-hour course.

Our Guam Trip Last Christmas

As this Christmas approaches, I found myself reminiscing about our last trip.

It was both our first overseas trip with the baby and our first time in Guam.

Our little one was 8 months old, almost 9, so we were quite excited (and a little nervous!) before we left.

But it all went incredibly well!

Honestly, it was even easier than I expected, haha!

I started by searching for Guam flights, and guess what?

LCC flights were in the ~$100 range, like ~$165, can you believe it?!

Even Korean Air can be booked for around ~$219!

Maybe we should head to Guam again this year... haha!

Our 8-month-old, experiencing a plane for the very first time, seemed to find everything utterly fascinating!

Contrary to our worries, both the flight to Guam and back to Incheon were completed without a single tear — a true success, haha!

We were so grateful to the couple behind us and the elders across the aisle who played so kindly with our little Wooka!

And it was also the trip that marked the end of my very, very long period of abstinence, haha!

Since it was our baby's first international trip, I primarily looked for places with lots of reviews,

and I liked that it was located in a bustling area and that the floors weren't entirely carpeted.

And when I requested a bed guard, they installed it just like in the picture! 😉

One side of the room turned into a 'Mamma Zone' (baby food station)! 😂

Since baby food containing meat isn't allowed into Guam, I did some searching around at the time and found that

Jjangjuk and Alvins had many types of room-temperature baby food, so I packed those.

Cup-type foods were more convenient to warm up and feed than pouch-type ones, and I also brought along purees and barley tea.

For formula, I had two kinds: liquid formula and stick-pack formula.

Putting him in the floatie we brought, we went out to Tumon Beach to play,

and he even napped on the sunbeds.

At the restaurants located within Dusit Beach Resort, we also enjoyed discounted meals with Dusit Gold.

The place we visited most often was the convenience store on the first floor before entering Dusit Thani! 😂

I drank a lot of Guam beer! 😅

There are several companies offering the tour, so it's a good idea to research them and consider the photo results, travel distance, and duration

before booking the one that appeals most to you.

I was curious about what Christmas in Guam would be like,

and it was just summer while we were playing in the water and exploring, but then we'd get back to the resort and it would suddenly be Christmas! Haha!

It was Ukka-gun's first Christmas, so I brought a red cape for him to wear once it got dark. Some people greeted him with 'Merry Christmas, Santa!', which made for a really fun memory! 😊

A full costume would be too hot, so I recommend bringing a summer version or just a cape!!

During our trip, we took a private snap tour where we customized our route with our local driver/guide to visit all the best photo spots in Guam. It was easily one of the highlights of our vacation—getting professional-quality photos without the stress of navigating! We went with a 3-hour route, which was the perfect duration to capture unforgettable memories.

After arriving at the airport, our last meal in Guam was at Burger King.

Even on the flight back, our little one played, then drank some liquid formula and slept soundly.

Guam seems to have been a great choice as an overseas travel destination with an 8-month-old baby.

Especially now, with the dollar exchange rate being so high, haha!

And because we loved our trip to Guam so much, we ended up planning and executing another trip to a different destination for our baby's first birthday! Haha!
