Recently, I went on an adventure, enjoying both Caribbean Bay and Everland – a trip I like to call 'Caribberland'!
To beat the scorching summer heat, I had an absolute blast splashing around at Caribbean Bay, and then, in the evening, I made the most of Everland's night opening.
To enjoy both places in one day, your stamina is incredibly important!
Since I live in Seoul, a same-day round trip would involve 2-3 hours of travel time alone, which felt like a huge burden.
So, the day before, I decided to stay overnight at the G7 Hotel's Deluxe Room near Everland!
To cut straight to the chase, it was an incredibly convenient place to stay, with Everland just a 3-minute drive away, Jeondae-Everland Station a 3-minute walk, and the shuttle stop also nearby.
Today, I'll be sharing my honest review of the Yongin G7 Hotel Deluxe Room (paid by me!), covering everything from room condition, location, shuttle usage, and parking information, all based on my personal experience.

The place I stayed at this time was the G7 Hotel Deluxe Room at Everland Station.
The best part was the really short travel time to Everland, meaning less energy expended!
Although I drove, it's also a great location for those relying on public transport, being just a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Jeondae-Everland Station.
Everland and Caribbean Bay are both about a 3-minute drive away, so many people travel by car. But we wanted to save on parking fees and also enjoy a beer or two, so we opted for the convenient shuttle bus.
The shuttle bus stop is also just about a 5-minute walk away, and it runs continuously every 5 minutes, so no reservations are needed, and it's free! I highly recommend it!

2. Deluxe Room Review
The room I stayed in this time was a Deluxe Room.
To put it simply, for the purpose of 'staying the night before Everland,' it was a truly satisfying room.
The room was a bit smaller than I expected, actually.
But it was perfectly sufficient for two adults to stay for a night!
The room condition was neat and tidy,
and the bedding felt clean with no damp smell.
There was a large air purifier in the hallway, and having a large air purifier in the room too
made it feel incredibly fresh, even in the middle of summer.

The bathroom was also compact but tidy,
and the shower water pressure was particularly satisfying.
Uniquely, the sink was located outside the main bathroom area,
which was convenient because I could wash my face outside while my husband was showering, allowing for separate use.
Lobby Services Were Surprisingly Good Too!
In the 1st-floor lobby where you check in,
a coffee machine, water dispenser, and microwave are available,
and you can freely use bottled water, ice cream, and other beverages.
Overall, rather than being a luxurious hotel,
it felt like a value-for-money accommodation with its clean rooms and convenient location as strong points!
If you're planning an Everland 'open run' (being first in line at opening) or a water park day at Caribbean Bay like I was,
this was a perfectly satisfying place to rest well for a night and start the next day in great condition.

3. My Experience with the Everland Shuttle Bus Stop
When I booked my stay near Everland,
the absolute top thing on my list was shuttle bus accessibility!
The great thing about the shuttle bus is that it's free and you don't even need a reservation!
I just dropped my bags at the hotel, changed, and walked over.
It was incredibly convenient, taking only about 5 minutes to get there.
And the buses run continuously, about every 5-10 minutes,
so you never have to wait long at all!
My itinerary this time included enjoying a splash at Caribbean Bay and then hitting up Everland for its night opening,
and honestly, the shuttle made getting around an absolute breeze!
It's awesome because you can hop on and off right in front of Everland's main gate,
meaning the walk to the entrance is super short!
Even after soaking in the night parade and fireworks display, the shuttle kept running,
so I could easily make my way back to the hotel, no matter how late it got.
The local amenities are fantastic too!
Another perk I discovered during my stay was that the local area has surprisingly great amenities!
Within easy walking distance, you'll find a cluster of
awesome restaurants, pubs, cafes, and convenience stores,
which was perfect for grabbing dinner or a casual drink.
(Maybe because a lot of Everland staff live around here!?)
Just a quick 3-minute stroll from the hotel, you'll find
GS25 and CU convenience stores,
making it incredibly easy to grab late-night snacks and drinks.
