it wasn't bitingly cold,

making it easy to pack the right clothes.

Plus, the October weather in Fukuoka was mostly clear,

meaning your photos will turn out absolutely stunning!

Heads up: Yufuin tends to be a bit cooler than Fukuoka!

I looked into it, and it turns out Yufuin is in a basin, which explains why

its temperatures are generally a bit lower than Fukuoka's! If you're just doing a day trip to Yufuin,

you won't need to drastically change your outfit.

However, if you're planning an overnight stay in Yufuin,

you'll experience both morning and evening temperatures, so I highly recommend packing a light knit sweater or an outer layer.
