1. October Fukuoka Yufuin Weather & What to Wear

October and November in Fukuoka were truly amazing for travel.

In October, the average temperature hovered around 22-23 degrees Celsius,

with daytime highs reaching a lovely 25 degrees Celsius.

While it cooled down to 15-18 degrees Celsius in the mornings and evenings,

it wasn't bitingly cold,

making it easy to pack the right clothes.

Plus, the October weather in Fukuoka was mostly clear,

meaning your photos will turn out absolutely stunning!

Heads up: Yufuin tends to be a bit cooler than Fukuoka!

I looked into it, and it turns out Yufuin is in a basin, which explains why

its temperatures are generally a bit lower than Fukuoka's! If you're just doing a day trip to Yufuin,

you won't need to drastically change your outfit.

However, if you're planning an overnight stay in Yufuin,

you'll experience both morning and evening temperatures, so I highly recommend packing a light knit sweater or an outer layer.

3. My Personal Recommended Yufuin Bus Tour Course

Personally, the Yufuin bus tour

After all, a day tour means dedicating a full day to your itinerary. While you might want to explore smaller towns at a more relaxed pace, my philosophy is that to truly enjoy quaint towns, you need to go on a free and independent trip.
