Everland is hosting its spectacular Firefly Festival in Zootopia!
We have compiled everything you need to know about the dates, location, and entry details so you can plan the perfect summer night out.
1. What to Expect
The Everland Firefly Festival 2026 is an immersive ecological experience held inside a cool, air-conditioned indoor space designed to look like a cozy campsite.
It is one of the highlight programs of Everland's Zootopia zone, allowing visitors to get up close with thousands of glowing fireflies.
2. Schedule & Location
The Everland Firefly Festival 2026 runs from 07/24/2026 to 08/30/2026.
The experience is open daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Last year, the festival ran for a relatively short window. However, for 2026, the event has been extended all the way to late August, making it much easier to fit into your summer travel itinerary!
The event is located at the Lost Valley Education Center.
Since the festival starts at 5:00 PM, we highly recommend enjoying the outdoor rides and roller coasters during the day, and then heading down to Zootopia as the sun begins to set!
3. Tickets & Reservations
While the firefly experience used to require a separate paid ticket in previous years, we have fantastic news:
Starting this year, admission to the Firefly Festival is completely FREE for all park guests!
Everland typically manages attraction queues and reservations through its official mobile app.
Currently, the specific booking and entry protocols for the 2026 firefly exhibit have not been fully detailed.

4. Insider Tips for Your Visit
The outdoor path leading down to Lost Valley does not have much shade, making it quite hot during the peak afternoon hours.
Even around 5:00 PM, temperatures can easily hover around 85°F to 90°F with high humidity.
If you are traveling with young children who might get easily exhausted by the heat, we highly recommend relaxing in one of the air-conditioned indoor dining areas or cafes before heading down to the exhibit.
For thrill-seekers and older kids, make sure to check out the newly upgraded #MonimoRUSH attraction nearby for an extra burst of excitement.
Did you know that Everland recently welcomed a new treasure? A fourth baby panda has officially been born!
Since the newborn is still very young, she is not yet open for public viewing.
However, you can still visit Panda World to see the famous twin pandas, Rui Bao and Hui Bao. This might be their final summer in Korea before they return to China, so it is the perfect time to stop by and say hello!
5. Pair It With: Summer Night Safari
While you are visiting for the fireflies, do not miss the #SummerNightSafari running concurrently!
Seeing majestic predators active under the moonlight is a completely different experience compared to the daytime safari. Combining these two nighttime events makes for an unforgettable summer evening.

The firefly experience, which was previously a paid event, is free starting this year. The exact reservation details and admission methods have not yet been announced, so please check the official Everland app closer to the event's opening date.
The Summer Night Safari will run concurrently with the Firefly Festival. You can enjoy the night safari, which offers a completely different charm compared to the daytime.
