2. Shuttle Bus Guide

While parking at Caribbean Bay is free, many families choose to drive down.

However, unless you arrive early for the "open run," finding a parking spot is incredibly stressful.

Plus, you won't have any energy left to drive back home after swimming all day!

Therefore, we highly recommend booking a round-trip shuttle bus for a hassle-free trip.

3. Essential Packing List

Make sure to pack these essential items before heading to Caribbean Bay so you don't have to buy them at a premium inside!

1) Towels

Towel rentals inside the park cost about $1 to $3 per towel. Save some cash and bring your own from home!

2) Sun Hat / Baseball Cap

While hats are not strictly mandatory to enter the pools, the Korean summer sun is incredibly strong. Protect your face from sunburn and keep your hair out of your eyes with a comfortable cap.

3) Aqua Shoes

Many visitors think they can just walk around barefoot, but the concrete floors at the park are hard, hot, and can get very slippery.

You can easily scrape your feet, especially in the wave pool. Aqua shoes are highly recommended. While they sell them inside the park, they cost around $16, so it's much better to buy them in advance.

4) Credit Card / Mobile Payments

Caribbean Bay uses a system called "Baycoin," which is a pre-paid wristband you load with money to buy food and drinks. The leftover balance is refunded later.

Honestly, topping up and refunding can be a hassle. I prefer using mobile payments like Samsung Pay. If you are an iPhone user, make sure to bring a physical credit card with you!

5) Waterproof Phone Pouch / Dry Bag

A waterproof pouch is absolute gold. You can find cheap ones at local markets, but there's always a risk of water leaking into your expensive phone! 🤣

Invest in a reliable, high-quality pouch to take crystal-clear photos under the water. If you need to carry extra items like makeup and cards, a waterproof dry bag is a great choice.
